If there’s any game that will put a smile on your face after a week of illness it’s this one. Monsters Ate My Birthday Cake, hereby known as MAMBC, is a delightfully cheery puzzle game in a world filled with cute monsters and sugary baked goods.
The Moon Sliver is an exploration/horror game rooted firmly in isolation and heavily emphasizes the importance of narrative. It’s a short evocative tale that only solidifies my opinion of the worst horrors being the ones you don’t understand at all – and the ones you deal with alone.
This platformer has a lot of flaws that you will notice as a veteran gamer of this genre. CreaVures has some interesting ideas and beautiful graphics, but it’s poorly executed otherwise.
