It was fun to read and opened the door to some wonderful memories. That game was one of the best I ever played! I loved the atmosphere and all.
I am looking for the soundtrack at the moment. Hopefully I’ll find it. I only have those short sound fragments that come with the game. A real soundtrack would be awesome.

By: Szin Fri, 27 May 2011 18:36:20 +0000 Great review!

I talk to my students about this game from time to time and other gamers I meet. I even asked in general chat on Rift last night but no-one replied.

Too bad. A great game that deserved more people playing it and still does.

I still play it on my lap top occasionally as it is one of the few games that is better played with just the keyboard (instead of keyboard/mouse).

Now I’m wondering how well Kingdoms of Amalur:Reckoning compares to it.

By: Vinny Fonseca Thu, 26 May 2011 09:28:00 +0000 This is brilliant, a ten year review of one of my favorite 3rd person RPG games. Most of your analysis is very accurate, with the combat system, gore and all.

The storyline for me lacked substance a little. The difficulty wasn’t as hard for me, maybe because I didn’t require upgrades on my machine and could play like a zombie on crystal meth for a month. Just needed getting used to blocking, SOOOO different from diablo…

Chaos Child was as simple as getting close, 3x powerful combo, same timing every time, getting away, wait for attack, getting close again.

Anyway, glad to see someone out there still care for these old, but jolly good games.

Nicely done!
