I didn’t even unlock all the cars on the SCPD side.

I did a few online races but there’s no real difference to singleplayer, except lag making things silly sometimes.

And the cutscenes – there needs to be an option to skip these entirely. They are all the same, and get boring and really disrupt gameplay.

the flaws i mention are not in other games – which other games have nearly identical cars, or stupid racing the logic? they don’t, because great games aren’t lazily coded, which is what this is.

the other games in the NFS franchise certainly don’t do it either, i own many of them, and pretty much all of them are far superior to this.

You clearly do not appreciate a good arcade racer as your review misses the essence of what makes a great game. Instead of nit picking at flaws which surface in any game due to personal preference, try playing the original Hot Pursuit and recognise the heritage of the NFS franchise.
